Easter 2009 - Celebration at Grandma and Grandpa's


The day before Easter, we went out to my parents' house for a brunch.  My sister, Deirdre was there as well.  We did egg hunts and my parents had Easter presents for everyone.  The kids had lots of fun.  Here are some photos of the egg hunts . . .

Later in the day, we hunted for wildflowers on my parents' property.  Maisie is doing a science fair project where she is keeping a field journal of all the wildflowers she can find in the Rogue Valley.  We have been wildflower hunting every weekend.  She does sketches, makes observations and takes photos.  At home she does research to identify the flowers and prints out the photos to add to the journal.  It is a cool project.  Here are some of the flowers we found this day . . .
