The roof goes up and other fun stuff

Another day-in-the-life entry . . . Here are a a few events in an uneventful Friday at the Roberson house . . . skip over work and school to the fun stuff . . .

Josh worked on putting a roof on the shed . . .

And we finally cut into our watermelon from out of our garden.  It is a big one!

We found a brown and a green egg in the nesting box . . . the green one was really big today . . . when we cracked it open it had two yolks!  Fun!  There is a big debate/mystery around here as to who is laying the green eggs . . . Lucy or Carmela?  We assumed Lucy at first, but now we are not so sure.  We are going to try to figure it out this weekend.  I will keep you all posted!

Maisie had a friend over . . . lots of playing in the playhouse!

And then we were off to practice!

Loved seeing just another day in the life of the Robersons...reminds me of our life with all the siblings growing up in Berkeley and Ashland...I've been reliving all those days, by daily going thru all the Allen papers and pictures from many years of hoarding that stuff in the storage shed. Rosie, there are wonderful pix of you as a baby feeding the chickens in our backyard....mama
