Henry for President and other fun stuff
A package arrived from my sister, Corinna, today that included among other stuff a new shirt for Henry. If you are not going to vote for Obama, consider Henry.
Today was also exciting as this evening was Maisie's first volleyball game! Yes, I am getting Maisie to play volleyball!
The other highlight of the day . . . which is pretty much the highlight of everyday around here . . . was checking for eggs. It is always fun and exciting for the kids, but especially fun to find a green and a blue at the same time. Cole found them today as usual. He likes to check just about every hour when he is not at school. On Sunday Maisie was so excited because SHE found the eggs -- it was the first time someone else didn't beat her to it. Here is a shot of Cole's little hands holding a green and blue he found together.
I have also been meaning to post some photos of Josh's latest project. He is building a shed in our side-yard. It is a little slow going as he is doing it all on his own, but it is looking good!
Cole is a big helper. See his addition to the shed in the photo below right.
Henry likes to help too.
The last photo I have to post is not from today . . . I am not sure when it was taken . . . sometime in the last week. When I downloaded the photos I took from the camera to the computer this one came along with the rest. Josh must have taken it while I was at work. It just cracked me it. This is what happens when Henry tries to dress himself:
OMG what lucky kids. Can I come grow up at your house? Nice work, er, play Rosie et al...as usual! Way to document all the family fun!
Cole is quite a talented carpenter. Don't tell John Fields!
I'll vote for Henry any day of the week...in fact, early and often! Cole's little hands look so wonderful just like a big guys...so strong and capable. Loved seeing the progress the 3 boys have made on the storage shed...its huge...and looks like it will serve your family well...when its done your art studio will grow to a very nice handy size...mama
He's got my vote! So glad it fits. They tried to talk me into a smaller size because he's not two yet. Ha! They don't know our family!
