Story Corp

Something I look forward to every Friday is Story Corp.  It is a segment on NPR that I listen to on the way to work.  It only last a few minutes -- on our local NPR station it airs at 7:25 for about 4 minutes.  The only problem is I am often wiping away tears as I get out of my car (at 7:30) in the parking lot at my work.  Not many people are in the office at this time of day though, so no one has noticed my teary Friday's yet.   It is such a wonderful thing, story corp . . . I had to share.  Listen on NPR or check out it out and listen on the web: http://www.storycorps.net/

A description from the website:

Since 2003, almost 30,000 everyday people have shared life stories with family and friends in our StoryBooths. Each conversation is recorded on a free CD to share, and is preserved at the Library of Congress. Millions listen to our broadcasts on public radio and the web. StoryCorps is one of the largest oral history projects of its kind.
