Josh the Winemaker

This past summer Josh started making wine.  Remember all those cherries?  He made his first batch of wine with those and bottled it this past December (after it had fermented and all that for 6 months).  We enjoyed it with Christmas dinner and have been quickly drinking it all (sharing it of course!).  Later in the summer he picked A LOT of local elderberries and made MORE wine.  This past weekend he bottled the elderberry wine.  I am kicking myself that I have not taken photos of the process.  Here are a few pictures of the most of the latest batch (Elderberry).  I helped with the corking (we now own a corker!).  The wine is really good by the way.  Nice job Josh!  It has been a fun process (maybe because Josh has done all the work?!) . . . picking the cherries, smelling the wine fermenting in the summer and the bottling processes . . . we have everyone giving us all their empty bottles.  My next job is making labels . . .
