Roberson Update

Hi All . . . sorry I have not posted in a while.  I have been busy (can you believe it?!)!  Josh and I have made the big switcheroo and he is now the stay-at-home dad and I am back at work FULL TIME!  Okay, not exactly your normal full time schedule . . . I go to the office each day, but work from home every afternoon (so I can be with the kiddies).  We have also been busy planning for Cole's big 5th birthday party.  It will be his first KID party.  Expect photos of that event this weekend.

Here are some photos of Cole working on his invitations . . . we mailed them with SUPER HERO stamps.

Here are some of the decorations we have been working on . . .

Maisie cut out all of the letters and I helped her to put them up.  Notice, Cole has had a haircut!

This is the pin the tail on the donkey poster I made for that (classic!) game.

Here is one more photo for you . . . just for fun.  It is of Kabb (Cole's cousin) and Cole at Sunriver over Christmas.  I took it thinking of Captain Underpants times two!!  Kabb's Mom (Aunt Colleen) is currently in labor with soon-to-be cousin Kutter.  We are thinking of her!  Will post pictures of that little guy when he is born.

Last but not least, here are a couple of links to the pre-marketing on two of my games coming out this spring (the two Briarpatch games).  I googled them and found these  . . . fun!

See info on the Fancy Nancy "Posh Bedroom" game:

Briarpatch gets Fancy in 2008 literally with a game based on the Jane O'Connor's bestselling Fancy Nancy children's book series.

And about Cothespins!:

Oh, one more thing . . . back in December I signed by 4th game contract!  This time with Gamewright (my FAVE game company).  This one will come out in 2009 . . .

I was getting so tired of logging on and seeing the same old Burley entry at the top of the list... thanks for making my morning with a new (and very fun) entry! Have a fabulous day!

Me likely the Burley entry, but I wanted a NEW entry. And you provided it. Thank you very, very much.

BTW - how does it feel to be 30 now? How was your b-day?

      I was oh so kidding.

30 feels just fine . . . it feels normal to be in my thirties . . . it felt a bit odd to still be in my twenties with three kids.

Congratulations on the games! What fun - now when do the French versions come out so I can buy them for my nephews?

The Clothespins game doesn't use any words . . . you could read the directions and teach your nephews how to play . . . I'll have to see about getting you a copy!   I should be getting my sample copies in the next few days.  I am excited to see how it turned out . . . they license my design but use their own illustrators and have the right to change the rules etc.  It will be fun for me to see how it all came together and if they maintained the feel/play I was going for . . .
