Henry took his first steps last night!

No photos or video taken, but Josh and I were both there to see it.  We will see if the walking continues today.  Henry was so proud of himself and so excited.  Laughing and laughing.  So cute.  He didn't do it like the other kids.  They both really thought about it and slowly, cautiously took steps towards either me or Josh.  Henry took his first steps moving from the coffee table to the couch.  He has made this move many times before -- a quick lunge -- but last night the coffee table must have been pushed farther out . . . Henry had to take two steps to make it.  This gave him some confidence and he took several (single) other steps before bedtime, moving between furniture.

Congratulations Henry!

He has been wanting this pretty bad (to be able to walk) . . . he watches Maisie and Cole and wants to be right there with them in everything they do!

Now if only he could talk he would be a happy boy.  (Okay, he is happy but I can tell he really wants to talk . . . )
