HALLOWEEN -- Trick-or-treating Costumes

For actual Halloween, Maisie was an Elf Princess, Cole was a Batman of sorts and Henry was a Bee.  Cole dressed up for school so I took photos of him in the morning.  Maisie was not allowed to dress for school so her photos I took as it was getting dark right before trick-or-treating.  Henry was a Bee all day as he helped me to volunteer in both kids' classrooms for their parties and such.  I didn't get photos of Henry until it was getting really dark, so they did not come out well . . . oops!!  All in all the kids had a great Halloween.  Trick-or-treating went well and my parents came over for dinner so they could see the costumes.

Cole before school . . .

Here is Maisie before Trick-or-treating . . . the costume was built up around the ballet leotard/skirt from Haven.  Thanks Haven!!

I was trying to take a close-up of the wand . . . Josh found this crystal in the woods and made it into a wand for Maisie.  So cool!!!

Here is another of Cole . . . right before trick-or-treating . . .

And little Henry the bee . . . I waited to long to take these . . . they didn't really turn out.  He was so cute!

They all look wonderful! Are you rationing candy for the weeks to come?

They ate a few pieces on Halloween . . . then we move onto rationing.   A piece after dinner or in Maisie's school lunch.  Cole always asks before breakfast (even though I say no every time! ).  We always end up throwing away a lot of candy.  We store it in the cupboard for about a month and when they forget it is there we chuck it (mind you none of the "good" stuff is left -- Josh and I eat the mini candy bars ).
