More Name Paintings
I finished a name painting for Henry! Yeah! You can see that the Henry letters are similar in colors etc to the Dillon and Declan name paintings I did recently. They are quite different however from the letters I did for Maisie and Cole some years ago (when I first got the idea).
Since some of you have shown interest I also took some photos of the those so you can take a look . . . Cole was very into fire trucks and fire fighting at the time so I was trying to go with that without being cutesy. Maisie is our pink princess but she also loves the outdoors and butterflies so I included a bit of that as well . . .
Included in the pics are a few close ups so you can see that they are really little paintings. I do them on mini stretched canvases. The canvases are four inch square that are 3/4 inch deep. Maybe more info than you wanted . . . Liz has me thinking in these terms as she thinks I should start selling them online.

It's really evident that these letters are real paintings...the texture of the paint and the brush strokes are beautiful and nicely sophisticated. A child could grow up and use these letters forever in thier home...kudos to you, Rosie.....
