I like Owen, Tanner, and Cooper. Cooper's drawback would be the inevitable shortening to "Coop" which reminds me of Mischa Barton's character on the "OC" but that probably should be a non-issue for most people. I like Owen because the "O" in the name corresponds nicely with ROberson.

Thanks for your thoughts, Kirsten!  I like those three as well . . . and I don't watch the OC, so I don't have any issue with Coop.
I am feeling as if I am due any day . . . but still have a month to go!!

My favorite on the list is Owen. It's open and delicious as it rolls off hte tongue, you know?

Owen. A good little boy's name that can grow up with him.

Delicious, eh?   No eating my children.

Yeah, remember that Ali had a baby-eating problem in college.

Back to Owen. It also reminds me of "Owen Meany" which was a great little story that is especially relevant at Christmas time.

What do Maisie and Cole like for names?

Oh, I remember . . . did Angie ever let Ali hold her little guy after that?

Cole is actually the one who came up with Owen . . . so he is a big supporter.  There was a new kid in his class a few weeks ago named Owen -- it was the first time he had heard the name -- so he "brought it home" and thinks it is a good choice.  Josh is still set on Henry, and Maisie really likes Wyatt . . . but I think that is because it is the name of a super-cute boy in her class who has a crush on her.

Maisie's justification is very understandable - Wyatt's ARE very cute.

    :o)

Their little hands and feet are so cute, though.

And what I mean by delicious, is that it feels good to say it. (Weird actor thing) Shakespeare's language is also delicious.

    Heheh.

I love Henry- but think it's kind of trendy these days. Still love Dash also. Owen and Tanner are solid names. Cooper or Coop are good but I worry about nicknames at elementary school!?! So exciting...

I love the names Henry & Owen (although I can't help think of Owen Wilson). I love Henry because it a name from our Grandparet's generation. I agree with Kirst that Cooper will end up being 'Coop.' Same things with Griffen. That's my cousin's name and everyone calls him 'Griff.' I also give a big thumbs up to Holden. You can't help but love the name of the main character in the classic 'The Catcher in the Rye.' I can't wait to find out your decision. love you!!

Henry was my grandfather's name . . . that is where Monnon comes in as well.  It is my mother's maiden name.

Hmmm, lots of great choices. I really like Henry and I love the sentiment attached to it. Henry sounds great with so many of the names on your list that you will have great choices for a middle name too.
