Definitely a Boy
I had my second ultrasound today . . . and we are having a boy! Cole and Josh were present for the news and both are very excited. I will break it to Maisie when she gets home from school.
So a call out for name suggestions! Now that we know it is a boy for sure it is time to come up with a name!
As far as how the pregnancy is going . . . all seems to be fine. I am about 23 weeks and my due date is between Jan 3 and Jan 8. Jan 3 according to the ultrasound (based on measurements of the baby etc) and Jan 8 according to my cycle/dates etc. I have been having a lot of contractions so I am supposed to keep aware of that, but I don't have any indications of problems associated with that (pre-term birth) so all is good. I am still tired some of the time but that is normal. I have already gained 20 pounds so I am sure I will be above and beyond the "normal" range of weight gain for the pregnancy, but oh well . . . I was with the other kids too. Nothing a good year of nursing won't take care of.
As far as pictures . . . I haven't taken any yet. I am definitely showing now, so maybe I will get Josh to take a few shots so I can post them . . .
Again, give me some name ideas! I like Henry, Liam, Willem, Hendrix, Tristan, Owen, Wyatt, Jet and others I can't think of at the moment.

Ooh ooh! Name him Wyatt so he'll have the same name as my new last name!
I like the name Liam, it sounds friendly.

I forgot one of my FAVORITES -- Dash or Dashiell (nick name Dash). Yes, it is from The Incredibles, but we love it. Only problem is Cole thinks he IS Dash . . .
Your choice names are all very Anglo - perhaps you can have Liz do some English names research for you...
And it of course begs the pregnancy-cravings questions... any hankerings for fish and chips... or Guinness?!
Okay...I like Henry...so does Dre. And I love Dash...what great choices. How about Henry Dashiel? Do you like Andrew...nice nicknames for that too. Luv ya...you looked totally gorgeous and fabulous this a.m. You are one beautiful girl....inside and out. Love to see the ultrasound pix...
Cole and Maisie will be such great big-sibs! I can totally see Cole showing him the ropes. I love your name options... I had a friend named Dash growing up! I like Henry as a name too. And if you're thinking of Wyatt, you should think of Bruen as an option as well...

Well, if you're thinking Wyatt or Bruen, then you have to add Taylor. Ha ha.
I really like Dash AND Liam. I know onw of each and they're both great people.
Per Kirsten's request for more Anglo names from across the pond: Declan, Dermot, Jasper, and Rafferty. You may think these are from Henry VIII's time, but they are all of Liam's friends names. I'll send more when I hear them.
Congrats Rosie! I think that Cole would be a little upset if his brother was named Dash...though I love the name. Jeff's new nephew is named Henry and he is the cutest thing in the world. I love that name. Another great name is Isaac. I really like the older names (like our grandparent's generation). Another great name is Jack. It's about as cute as you can get. I send more when I think of them!
