Today is Maisie's last day of school!  She had her end of the year Kindergarten BarBQ on Friday at school . . . Cole and I went.  It was lots of fun.  I am happy her first year of "real" school went so well.  It seems amazing to me that summer vacation if here!  Soon the kids start swim lessons (I will take some pics) and Cole is very excited that he is finally old enough to sign up for some summer classes . . . he will be taking swim lessons, tumbling, and soccer.  If I could just convince him about preschool . . . we will try again this fall!  Maisie feels she has "lots of summer plans" but I am crossing my fingers that this summer goes smoothly . . . last summer was my most trying time with Maisie as I think she was a bit bored.  She and I clashed quite a bit and she and Cole did not get along as well as could be hoped.  I think this summer should be better as she has grown up a lot this past year (she is much more reasonable) . . . so has Cole, which allows Maisie and Cole to play together better.  One of Maisie's big plans this summer is to do lots of reading . . . public library here we come.   I would love to do some camping as well . . . I'll keep you all posted!
